ANIMALS ARE THE SWEETEST THINGS
My love for animals started at a young age, however my passion for the welfare of animals started when I met Penelope - my beloved sausage dog, whom I just had to have when I passed her in a pet shop and was horrified to see she had been marked down like a last season frock!
I am a huge supporter of animal welfare organisations and in Australia work closely with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA). I was thrilled to be asked to be their "superhero" and accepted on the proviso that I didn't have to wear red tights.
My cherished Penelope, who was my constant companion and a regular star of my catalogues, continues to be the mascot for my brand following her death in November 2005 and in this way she continues to live. I now have 2 more dogs, Elizabeth and Butch, which will never replace Penelope but do hold a special spot in my heart.
I am one of those mad animal people who can talk about pets for hours on end - love nothing more then waking up to a big lick on the cheek and believe 'dogs' truly are 'gods' spelt backwards!
I try to do what I can to raise money and awareness for the animal kingdom and although I have raised tens of thousands in Australia I look forward to making a big difference once I am settled in the USA to help local charities through special sales and VIP nights.

DUDLEY
BERNESE MOUNTAIN GOD
1997 - 2004
Dudley belonged to my art director, Andrew and he appeared in one of my
favourite catalogues ever - winter wonderland in 2000.
He loved all things food related thus meaning had a constant battle with his figure.
Dieting was not Dudley's idea of fun and as a result, and was often caught
stealing treats from wherever he could reach.
BOWIE
THE GREATEST OF DANES
Bowie was a cover boy in 2005. He belongs to a friend of mine that actually
owns 2 great Danes... Now that's a lot of poop!
Bowie is addicted to reality
television, Fashion TV and John Hughes films. This makes him a sensitive soul,
that needs to hear how beautiful he is on a constant basis.
FRANKIE
DALMATION
1997 - 2004
Frankie was a free thinker. She was never black and white
about things, and nor could she be in the world of professional modeling.
I hired her and her sister to appear in my spring 07 advertising campaigns.
(Note: We did not dye her spots it is done by computer wizardry!)
TIMBER
Timber is a tom boy.. a girl who likes to play rough and have some good old
fashion dirty and naughty fun.
Always jumping into lakes and then running through the house.
On the day of the shoot she was a mere pup & her owners who are very good
friends of mine had no idea that raising a dog would bring so much love &
dirt into their home.
TIM TAM
Tim Tam belongs to the family of my longest, dearest friend, Fiona.
Tim Tam came & stayed with me for a couple weeks to keep me doggy company when
my Penelope passed away. Tim Tam is named after a famous chocolate biscuit because
she has the richest of chocolate coats that Cadbury would be proud of!
Tim Tam is the kindest dog I have ever met.
